The primary purpose of this Internet based seafood network is to facilitate information exchange about the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) system of food safety control in the seafood industry.
The listserv uses e-mail to convey HACCP and seafood related information to network subscribers. Seafood industry and regulatory information and inquiries are also encouraged on this network.
It has become apparent that some network users may not realize that the e-mail address, seafood@ucdavis.edu, automatically distributes a message to over 400+ subscribers worldwide.
By all means, if you want everyone on the seafood network to read your message, address it to seafood@ucdavis.edu To communicate privately as a follow-up, please respond to the individual's e-mail address that is listed on the message.
The seafood listserv and World Wide Web home page are administered by Robert Price (Seafood Technology Extension Specialist, Sea Grant Extension Program at UC Davis - rjprice@ucdavis.edu) and managed by Pamela Tom (Program Representative).

To UNSUBSCRIBE address your request to:

In the message text just type:
unsubscribe seafood
Subscribing and unsubscribing is done automatically by the computer. If you add any other types of messages with your e-mail request, the computer rejects your request.
